Wax Museum and House Museum
Wax museum in the town of Benidorm is one of the most visited museums in the Benidorm area. It is also known as Museo de Cera. This museum is located in the Levante area of Benidorm. Another reason for its popularity is its location near the Church of Carmen.
The Wax museum has wax statues of the rich and famous personalities like Elvis Presly, Charlie Chaplin and many of the political leaders. The museum also houses waxworks of the members of the royal families. The waxworks are a creation of the very famous wax sculptor Jose Ballester. The Wax Museum also includes Museum of Erotic Art.
House Museum is yet another famous museum in Benidorm. It is even known as Casa Museo de Benidorm. It is an important art gallery in this region and draws thousands of art lovers from all over the world. The museum is built in the 19th century building and the architectural work on the building adds to the popularity of the museum. Museum houses paintings and sculptures of many of the well known artists.
Maritime Cultural Center is a museum located on Paseo de Colon. The museum is popular for its exhibited model ships. Apart from ships, the museum also displays anchors, fishing boats and other equipments.
Agricultural Museum is a unique museum in Benidorm. It includes various agricultural tools like the ancient horse-drawn plough, watermill, cart and such other tools and equipments that were used by their ancestors for farming.
