Denia is the district capital of La Marina Alta situated on the northern
end of the Costa Blanca and 100 km. from Alicante. Denia is a spectacular town
with a picturesque local road that passes between Cape San Antonio and the
impressive mass of Mt. Montgó. Villajoyosa is a beautiful city located 32 km. on the south of Alicante
with a long tradition of seafaring and voyaging, as well as a chocolate making
industry of renown.
Santa Pola is a small fishing town located 20 km. from Alicante and is famous for its white beaches and coves.
Calpe
(Calp) is a beautiful town which the Peñón belongs and worthy of its 11 km. of
seashore ranging from fine sandy strands, such as the Levante and Arenal
beaches, to picturesque coves, such as La Manzanera and Les Urques.
